After retiring from a 32+ year career in Secondary Education, I wanted to be able to meet the public in a service capacity. In my career as an educator, I have worked successfully with a diverse community and will bring that experience and dedication to those who I work with.

Being a lifelong member of this community, my roots are in Sacramento County and Elk Grove. I grew up in a rural part of Sacramento County but have lived and worked in the Greater Sacramento Area. Having successfully raised two children locally they are now living their lives. My son is currently living and working in Norway and my daughter is a busy mom of four, and I try to visit them as often as possible.

Volunteering time with several local non-profit organizations, I wanted to start a second career to help buyers and sellers with their Real Estate Needs. With my love to work with people, having a hearty work ethic...you will not find a more dedicated Realtor for you! I continue to educate myself with the ever changing status of the real estate market, REOs and Short Sales.

Here are just a few of the organization I am a member of: National Association of Realtors(NAR)/California Association of Realtors(CAR)/Sacramento(SAR), NAHREP (National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals), Elk Grove Optimists, Central Valley Rails to Trails Foundation(CVRTF.org), Project Ride(projectride.org), Sheldon Community Association, Native Sons of the Golden West, and Elk Grove Regional Scholarship Foundation

Traveling and being creative are interests of mine. I enjoy taking short day trips throughout Northern California and visiting all the myriad of places it has to offer. A few of my interests include DIY fabric arts, cooking, collecting minerals/rocks and making jewelry. I look forward to serving a diverse community with my dedication to those that I work with, in addition to checking off my growing bucket list.

I have the experience of a top rated Real Estate Agency/Lyon Real Estate with 70 years of experience in the industry and access to all 17 regional offices throughout the greater Sacramento area

Cecelia's main goal as an agent is to help her clients find a home they love. She met and exceeded her goal. She was patient in explaining things, clear in what was needed and what we needed to do, and was very accessible for communication. I never felt like I couldn't ask her a question or have her repeat things. She was patient and kind, and with a great sense of humor. My overall experience was great. In the stress of looking for and buying a house, it was really nice to be able to have someone who was experienced and knowledgeable. Anytime I was unsure, Cecelia was happy to answer questions. If I was feeling pressure, she was able to put things in perspective and give me information to help me make decisions. The best is that she was patient. While I may have hemmed and heard about making a decision, she gave me all the time I needed. I would wholeheartedly recommend Cecelia Bazett as an agent to friends and family. (And strangers!)

She was referred by a sales agent, the first time I met with Cece at my house and I knew she was the one, who was sincere and knowledgeable in local market. Before listing on the market, she walked me through the whole process carefully and followed up my questions in a timely manner. Besides, she was detail oriented and very calm when handling a situation like fixing the problem of my smoke alarms, which went chirping with no reasons. She immediately got someone to look at my smoke detectors, bought the replacement for me and installed several units.

Cecelia Chan Bazett has been a long time friend. When she retired from teaching and became a Lyon agent, she sent me personalized content information via email and U.S.Postal. When I first began to consider moving, she kept in touch, not only as a friend, but as a real estate agent. She was patient, knowledgeable about the real estate business and current trends, but also was very considerate of my situation. Through this past year she was very helpful with finding homes to view, consider, as well as helping organize for the financial end of buying a home in Elk Grove. Cecelia Chan Bazett struck that balance of being a good friend and a professional real estate agent. Patient with my questions, concerns, and very supportive of my views and decisions. This could have been an experience which could have ended a lifetime friendship as well as a failure in purchasing, and it was not!!! I would recommend Cecelia Chan Bazett to anyone who was seeking a home in Elk Grove and surrounding areas. I love my new house and Cecelia Chan Bazett kept in mind all the time viewing houses, what I wished for, and never tried to push something else on me. The whole experience has been good, and she was very supportive when we lost out on a house, and reflected on what might have improved the offer, and continued without any complaints about finding another one, which she did, and it turned to be the perfect home!

Additional Testimonials

I had to sell and buy at the same time. I couldn't have done it without the help and support from Cece. She's always quick to respond. I will definitely tell my friends and family to go through Cece. There were more than a few nights Cece worked late hours so we could get contracts/offers done. She was very knowledgeable and if there was a question she didn't know, she would use her resources to get back to me through the whole process and kept me in the "know". Cece was amazing to work with. Thank you Cece!

Cece was an absolute pleasure to work with! She exceeded our expectations and went over and beyond during this very long process. We so appreciate her patience and perseverence in selling our property during a difficult time in the market....She was listed as a selling agent for a property we were interested in and found out she had much more knowledge and experience.
